The Search for Breakfast Pizza

The search for breakfast pizza has been difficult this year, and member schools have reached out seeking alternatives. As an amazing alternative to the ready bake options school districts were used to offering, AEA Purchasing's Clif Cameron offered to assist in creating standardized recipes for members, and several schools took him up on the offer! 

There is no "one shoe fits all" approach. Schools have different staffing and kitchen resources as well as customer preferences. So Clif took the time to work with each director to customize a recipe that they can hopefully use for years to come, product shortages or not. 

BONUS - Clif Cameron was invited to Trinity Lutheran School in Cedar Rapids at the beginning of April to assist in training staff on the new pizza recipe and pairing of a " Rainbow Thai Noodle Salad " recipe. Now that is a WIN-WIN!
