Vegan Options from AEA Purchasing Food Partners

With approximately 78 million people worldwide consuming only a vegan diet, November (National Vegan Awareness month) is a great time to familiarize yourself, your staff and your students on the vegan products you may already be serving in your cafeteria or a GREAT time to try something new! There are several reasons that a person may choose a vegan diet, with environmental impact, taste and health being just a few.

Are you looking for ways to celebrate National Vegan month?  Why not try one or two of these great suggestions:

  • Incorporate more plant based food to the menu.
  • Host a plant based tasting.
  • Raise awareness and support a local vegan option.

Additional vegan product information from AEA Purchasing's food partners can be found below.

This month, try something new! Being a vegan does not mean you have to only have to eat lettuce!

And if you do try something spotlighted in a blog, remember we would love for you to share the results. Who knows? You may be the next blog talking point.
